What a fantastic weekend. Had planned on going home straight from school and not dilly dallying at the Colonies for a "quick-one" after work. Ofcourse, ended up not only drinking at the Colonies but going into Soho with Andy, Darren & Peter and meeting up with Renu before dancing the night away at G.A.Y. Haven't been in so long that I'd forgotten how much I love the music they play there on a Friday, a jucy mix of Stock, Aitken & Waterman, Kylie, Steps, Boney M, Michael Jackson and other classy hits....I know for many of you this might sound like your idea of hell but I always enjoy a boogey when I end up there.
Then yesterday, for St. Pat's Day, Kieran and I headed down to meet my aunties in Brighton. All in all a great afternoon, perusing art galleries, playing the penny slot machines and my all time favourite the 2p drop games (don't know their official name). You literally throw your money away, which is why it's important to have a budget of £1!
Later, we headed back to Bernadette and David's house to have a lovely evening eating Boeuf, drinking vino, playing Ireland-themed quizzes with my cousins and generally having a bit of a laugh.
Here are some photos which will give an indication of the craic that was had.
