Off we go

And we're off to Serbia tomorrow.

Can't believe I've been looking forward to it for so long & Ireland is no longer in the final (they didn't make it through the semi-final on Tuesday). I am actually quite relieved. Now I can cheer for somebody else and not feel guilty.

I've been listening to all the songs all week in preparation for going to the final. I've spent all this money to go, the least I can do is some research so I'm familiar with the songs!

There are quite a few "goodies" this year, and depending on the vibe of the Eurovision voters I'm predicting the following:

Type A; (if the public want a pure pop song)
Either Sweden, Denmark or Armenia

Type B: (if the public want a ballad)
Either Russia or Romania

Type C: (if the public go for something wacky)
Either Spain, Finland or Azerbaijan (yes, welcome to Europe Azerbaijan!!)

My personal favourite is Sweden. Loving the obligatory Eurovision key change towards the end of the song and if she belts it out on the night it will bring the house down.

Ofcourse, seeing as though I haven't picked a winner since 1981 (Buck's Fizz "Making your Mind Up') it could be anyone's competition!!
