Firstly, we had many a guest staying over including, me mam, da & Mari from Nihon. Always fun to have guests, but can be hectic when you are working & entertaining at the same time. Here is a cheerful looking photo of Dazza, me mam, me & Andy in De Hems of course. I am often to be seen there with guests (or locals) because you can get everyone's favourite cherry beer on tap there. Delicious.
And so it never rains but it pours.
With all the heavy rain the clearly weakened ceiling in the living room roof started to leak- it dripped on poor Mari while she was sleeping on the futon- and she rang me at work in a panic to let me know the roof was 'raining' . This image has inspired me to write a Haiku:
The roof starts to drip
With interior rain drops
On my sleeping friend
