Engaged

Wow- can't believe it's been a month since I last blogged!! Terrible. Slaps on the wrist for Adrienne.

To be very honest, I'm totally addicted to Facebook and sooo busy playing my moves in Scrabulous & Superpoking people! It makes me laugh out loud to throw virtual fish at people and send ninjas after them. It also makes me cry when my friends get TWO bingos (one on a triple word score) in one Scrabble game, (Gert, I'm talking about YOU). Yes, I know I'm a nerd (or as they say here neek) but I've been a nerd for 34 years and don't see any reason to change now.

Ofcourse, much else has happened. Kieran in a desperate attempt to lure me off the computer has proposed!! One version of the story is that he got down on one knee while I was (in my pyjamas) making Scrabble moves on a Sunday night. There is another version but it's much longer and I'll tell you in person if you axe pacifically.

No date set as yet- but possibly looking to Aug 2008. A few of my family are over from Australia for my cousin's wedding in July so it would make sense to have it then while they are over, you know, air fares being what they are these days. So watch this pragmatic space.

A big thank you to all the nice messages & emails & texts that people have sent. I never realised what kind of response this would get. Perhaps everyone is just thinking 'about bloody time'??!!

Also, if any of my married lady friends have any tips of preparing for the big day, please feel free to let me know. Afterall, I've never done this before or (if I'm brutally honest) paid much genuine attention to others doing it. This may come back to bite me.
