Ever since I put 'win 100 games of Scrabulous' on my list of 50 things to do my Scrabble mojo has jumped ship. I used to win/lose approx the same amount of games. Now I lose more than I win.Probably because I play Kieran the most and he is a walking dictionary.
Most people when you challenge them to a word they've played that's a bit dubious (Darren & Gert, I'm talking specifically to you) they reply with, urr, well...the computer allowed it. With Kieran he will say something like -'oh, it's a medieval stringed instrument from the Balkans, often played as part of a quintet.' In the tone of 'doesn't everyone know that?' voice that I've come to know and love.
Perhaps I should start playing children.
