Just back from a whistlestop trip up to Norfolk to wish K's mum K a happy mother's day, and what a lovely couple of days it was too.
I've been known to complain a little about the cold in Norfolk (and even contemplated bringing my thermals up there last August for the wedding). Well, I'd only really ever been in Winter. I think. But all that has changed. The weather was glorious- 2 walks in 2 days and not a coat or glove in sight. But plenty of springing spring flowers in various shapes, sizes & colours. (Daffodils galore). I regret not bringing my camera.
And speaking of mothering- my own mam arrives in the UK next Friday & I can hardly wait!!
