With less than a week to go we have opted for the spending very little time in London option. Monday we were in Brighton (great night out at Drake's boutique hotel & restaurant- better not get used to that quality of hotel) and now we are in Norfolk- catching up with K's family.
As I type, K is upstairs sorting through a lifetime of paper work from school reports to uni photos to travel diaries kept in Nepal and India. What to keep and what to throw away. We disagree here, I think he should keep the school reports- they're a giggle but he doesn't want to. But maybe that's the school teacher in me and others don't find ancient reports all that interesting.
Back to London this Friday for a last flurry of packing, unpacking, trips to the charity shop, catching up with friends for drinks and farewells and brunches etc.
Then we're off Sept 1- next Tuesday. Gulp. So much to do before then!!
