After checking out the training programs* we've had our first 'training' walk for the big one. Well, 3/4 of us anyways. We walked the first leg up to CP1 and it went relatively well- just one twisted ankle & a whole lot of enthusiasm. This, of course, could change when we are presented by hills.
So, we just have to do that same walk, 10 times in a row, throw in some steep hills & walk part in the dark and we're done. Hmm...maybe the reality of what we've committed ourselves to hasn't quite hit yet...
* and laughing at the advanced programs- seriously, do people really run part of it??!!
