Wow, this is a record time away, even for me. Two years?
This has been partially not my fault. Seems to be some changes to passwords/blogger teaming up with google and I couldn't actually log in until I found the actual website in my contacts. Then it was easy to get in.
So, technical issues.
Well it's winter again, and reports due and coming up to school production time = being super busy and so naturally blogging* seems like a good idea.
What's been happening I hear you ask? Book club is going great. This month our challenge is to read the new Judy Blume (remember her?) book and we have also all been assigned an 'oldie but a goodie' to rediscover. I've got Deenie. All I remember about that book was that I really liked it at the time (probably 11 or 12) and that it involved a model getting a brace and that was the end of her modelling career (probably why I liked it hahaha).
I finally got around to setting up my FitBit. I didn't realise it was so expensive as it was a present from Santa. When I did cotton on to its expense I thought I really should use it. Now I love it. I'm aiming for 10,000 steps a day. Which is mostly not too hard. I should probably reset it for 11,000.
Eurovision has been and gone and quite a fun one this year. K & I travelled north of the river to support Switchboard Australia and party with other Euro fans and drag queens. Of course we dressed up.
As Riverdance (K makes a good Flatley). And we were the only ones (apart from the hosts and the drag queens). Not that that bothers us, we had a ball and I walked/danced 20,000 steps that day. That's what Irish dancing will do for you.
