Oh, and it was a false alarm (falsu alarmu) about turning Kieran Japanese. (nihonjin) He hasn't opened the Berlitz-teach-yourself-Japanese-book (hon) since the last time (saigo). Might be time to get the angry teacher (sensei) out of the closet. Just a metaphor for myself, (watashi) we don't really have an angry or otherwise teacher in our closet.
My plans of having Kieran (ichi-ban) semi-fluent (pera-pera) by July 23 so I can take a lazy (nakemono) backseat in Japan (nihon) have yet again been foiled. (damn, will have to look that word up in the furigana dictionary)
But on a positive note his pronunciation of Japanese food (ryori) is excellent. (sugoi)
