It's cold, wet, miserable & dark (at 1402) and I still have to venture out to pick up a couple of last minute pressies before heading off to Norfolk tomorrow morning. But what with a slight hangover from the work Christmas party (perhaps a little bit too much of the deputy head's home-brew), the unappealing outdoor conditions and the recent arrival of Kath & Kim Series 4 all the way from Australia via Christmas post (thanks mam!!) it is much more tempting to stay indoors snuggled up with a glass of berocca.I shall go to the 'don'ts for wives' book & try and find an appropriate & inspirational quote...
Ah, here's one. "Don't spend half the morning in bed because there is 'nothing to get up for'. The day is not long enough for all the things you might do if you liked."
That's me told. Off to do my shopping then.
