How to avoid marking student's work

It's been a weddingtastic week this week. I've booked florists, bands, Roger the DJ, hairdressers, photographers, BnBs for the hen's night, shopped for vintage wear & underwear, (not vintage underwear though) made invites & place settings, researched favours, bought 9cm heeled shoes (I keep saying 9 inches), made seating arrangements, planned a honeymoon, and spent hours of my life on the internet or on the mobile.

Mostly I tell myself it's great to get all these 'little' jobs out of the way this week while on Easter holidays, but secretly I know it's because I'm avoiding marking the 66 folders of ICT coursework for my GCSE classes which are sitting in a pile downstairs. Wedding stuff is sooo much more fun than projects about database & Excel spreadsheets. Unless ofcourse your wedding planner is an excel spreadsheet- yet another thing I've been working on this week.

Hmm...might go dye my hair now. Or have some lunch.
