Let it Snow x3

So, still in Banff. Still getting asked the 'oh, are you having a day off skiing then today??' million Canadian dollar question. I have not been sugar coating my answer either- 'me, nah, I don't ski!!' (said in a scoffing sort of way).

I don't think I've ever seen so many Australians on working holiday visas in my life before. (apart from London classrooms & the Walkabout in Shepherds Bush, naturally). This is clearly the place to come if you are a snowboarder/skier and Mt Bulla is not rocking your Billabong World. To be fair, the lifestyle here is not that different from Australia (cold weather aside). There's an easy-going, nothing is too hard, no worries kind of attitude here that you just don't feel so much in London!! Just replace sand with snow.

And speaking of Australia- some good news- K has recieved an email to say that they've got his Aussie spousal visa application and have started the process. They are very clear to stress "We recommend that you do not take any irreversible action during the processing of your application (such as leaving your employment, purchasing airline tickets, or selling your property". Which is a bummer because I'm really hoping to hand in my notice before half term (i.e. 5 weeks away) so that I will finish up in the UK summer term.
Exciting!
