Kieran submitted his penultimate essay for his masters (in Contemporary History & Politics) yesterday. His topic was the very interesting "Infant nutrition – the debate and how it has been shaped by contemporary cultural and social themes " (e.g. the politics of breast feeding). Finally an essay that I could read and understand. The last essay on "Corruption and economic crime in post-Soviet Russia – its roots in Soviet and pre-revolutionary Russian culture", while interesting, was a lot to take in. This one is much easier to digest. Every pun intended.
He promises to put in an appearance one of these days on the blog, perhaps he'll share some of his findings.
