Still in Melbourne having a ball, eating, drinking, catching up with everyone, having massages, going for walks on the beach. It is, however, freezing here. I didn't really bring many warm winter clothes with me. Mostly because; 1. I couldn't be bothered carrying them through the Japan summer
2. I figured I'd have loads of stuff still here at me Mam's place. WRONG!! nothing here- you go away for 5.5 years and Sheesh they throw away all your stuff. Lucky I have a stylish sister who likes snowboarding and has a plethora of warm jackets & thermal underwear.
Kieran & I went to Daylesford for a couple of days hoping to do a bit of hiking, but it rained non-stop and we found it difficult to resist the lure of all that great organic food they have up there.
Friday & Saturday night were spent in a whirlwine (Freudian slip there, has an ironic element of truth so I've left it in) of catching up with everyone. And can't believe we're off to New Zealand tomorrow already.

So sorry we missed you! Glad you've had a lovely visit though. Now if you thought it was cold here...just wait until you get to NZ!!!
Sorry we missed you too, Sharon. Sarah passed on the message that Ali was sick :( We'll just have to meet up next time- when you will be a family of 5!!
Yep, not looking forward to the cold of NZ. I plan on staying indoors next to heaters/fires & drinking hot chocolate a lot!!
It was great to see you too Adrienne, albeit briefly because of the kiddie's bedtimes. Your mum and dad have a very warm and welcoming home (and manner!) and we really enjoyed ourselves.
Likewise, Sarah. Thanks so much for coming- twas great to meet the little tackers in person!
