Tonight is the first semi-final. I'll be hunkering down with my anti-biotics & homemade Lemon, Ginger & Golden Syrup Tea (I've run of honey) and predicting the following countries to make it through:
1. Turkey (the "favourite" one)
2. Armenia (the kooky one)
3. Bosnia-Herzegovnia (the passionate one)
4. Malta (the belt it out one)
5. Iceland (the sweet one)
6. Switzerland (the nostalgic 80s pop one)
7. Sweden (the sheer Schlager one)
8. Israel (the "I'd like to make a statement with my vote" one)
9. Finland (the Aqua-esque one)
10. Romania (the "Gin-Tonic-Lime" one)
Meaning the following would miss out: Montenegro, Czech Republic, Belgium, Belarus, Andorra, Bulgaria, FYR Macedonia and possibly even Portugal (just missing out I think)

i'm watching it now (hosted by sam pang and julia zemiro - yay!) but our sbs reception is so bad it keeps cutting out completely and it looks like it's snowing inside the moscow stadiumm. which makes me think "there must be a better way".
i liked andorra's ginger spice.
