99 Luft Boarding Passes

So, the Aussie Spousal Visa Malarky continues.

Thought we'd provided so much information with the first round of forms that they Aussie Embassy would be rolling out the diplopmatic red carpet so to speak. Alas, this is oh most certainly not the case.

K got a request for more astounding information.
1. Every address he's ever lived in for the past 10 years (with dates)
2. Every place he's ever worked in for the past 10 years (with dates)
3. Every country he's ever visited, yup, you've guessed it, for the past 10 years (with dates)

That last one was a killer. Maybe it's an Australian thing that they don't truly understand what it's like to have a European passport & be able to travel freely throughout Europe without so much as a stamp in your passport for verification. In 10 years, that can add up to lot of (unrecorded) travel. Luckily K still had every one of his boarding passes (the things a husband never tells his wife)!! He sat down last Sunday with a spreadsheet, his boarding passes, various travel diaries & worked out all the trips (including all his ones for business) over the past 10 years. It was over 90! I tried to be the good helpful wife by finding photos with dates on them in our albums, but this ended up being more a trip down travel memory lane for me than any great assistance to K.

So, overland all the way back to Oz then. (Trains, automobiles, busses, boats, ferries, walking, horses, elephants, kayaks, but no planes).

You know, if we get the visa, like.
