Ireland's out. Two reactions:
1. Sad. Yet again not to be able to wear my large green hat on a Eurovision night
2. Happy. I can
Sure we've won it 7 times, we're just letting a few other later arrivals get their foot in the door. If we keep winning, nobody will play with us.
And this means:
Croatia, (what the?) Norway, (no-way), Denmark, (if Ireland can't get in we'll write a song that does), Azerbaijan, (my faves), Greece, (I can now see what the fuss was about) Lithuania, (?) Moldova, (enjoyed this on the night), Albania, (still traumatised by green man), Ukraine (and why not), & Estonia (for a bit of class) are in.
Bring on Saturday night.
