H1N1

This is not the time to be coughing and spluttering I can tell you. Everyone gives you (perhaps understandable) evil glares.

Day 3 of absence from school which is very annoying when I had a blemish free record since we moved into this new place last year! I was going for the perfect year. Ah well, not to be. So what started as a stomach bug (thought it was something I ate) which knocked me out for 2 days, has now developed into flu-like symptoms & given the recent H1N1 virus alert I've been advised

1. not to go anywhere near school
2. not to go anywhere near my GP or a hospital

So K has to pick up my anti-biotics & I get to stay at home & feel sorry for myself & worry about not being there for my GCSE students with their exams looming.

At least I have Eurovision Dress Rehearsals to watch online to keep me going...
